15. The Alien’s Favorite Books

Linguists first found some basic English textbooks for the alien. Amazingly, it could look up the dictionary by itself after one day of study, and read books by itself the next day. In less than a week, the alien had studied hundreds of major books in major libraries across the country, such as astronomy, metallurgy, engineering, mathematics, religion and various literary classics. It is particularly interested in humanities and history books, and has read at least 50 books.

It likes Alice in Wonderland, Don Quixote and One Thousand and One Nights the most. Because the authors show people that having a great soul and creativity is far more important than mastering an important skill or power.

After 16 days of study, the alien’s education has far exceeded the expert level. It can now communicate accurately in a language that is easy for humans to understand.
